There is a quote attributed to Pericles that reads, “What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.” Yesterday, Team Pioneer came together to celebrate the retirement of Mrs. Carolyn Royster-Bell, who dedicated 16 years of service to Pioneer Bank. Mrs. Bell has left a lasting impact on all of us. One team member described her as “sunshine in a person,” and indeed, she embodied that spirit — spreading light, kindness, and faith wherever she went. Throughout her tenure, Mrs. Bell consistently championed acceptance and forgiveness, values that strengthened our culture and brought out the best in our team.
We commend Mrs. Bell for her many contributions to Pioneer Bank and know that she will continue to be a source of warmth and inspiration to everyone she meets in the next chapter of her journey.
