This week in Roswell, we had the honor of celebrating two incredible careers as we gathered for a retirement party for Rose (25 years of service) and Leigh (22 years of service).

Banking has changed tremendously over the years, and both Rose and Leigh have been a meaningful part of that evolution at Pioneer Bank. Through growth, innovation, and new challenges, they remained steady, dedicated, and deeply committed to our customers and our community.  Both of these ladies are also some of our best volunteers!

Rose shared: “Wow, 25 years goes by faster than you think. My time here has been outstanding. Being a community banker, you have great opportunities to volunteer on their time and your own, and it makes you feel good. Your Pioneer Team is part of your family and I will miss them. I am very thankful and blessed to have been a part of Team Pioneer.

Christopher Palmer, President/CEO, shared this about Rose: “For many years, Rose has been a steady and trusted presence in Loan Administration. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to help others set a standard that will continue long after her retirement.”

Leigh shared: “My 22 years with Pioneer Bank has been an amazing journey. There have been so many changes and advances in technology , but the heart of the people remain the same. My co-workers are caring individuals who come together to make a family. We care about each other and about our customers. The years flew, thanks to my great coworkers and wonderful supervisors. When I retire , I know I will miss them all. Thank you for this fantastic journey.

Christopher shared this about Leigh: “Leigh’s work as an Internal Auditor has been marked by integrity, diligence, and a strong commitment to accountability. Her careful attention to detail and dedication to sound practices have helped strengthen Pioneer Bank for many years.

We are so grateful for the years of service, leadership, and heart both Rose and Leigh have given to Pioneer Bank. They have truly helped shape who we are today. Wishing them both a wonderful and well-deserved retirement!
