On Monday, February 22nd, 1982, Pioneer Bank reopened the doors to the historic Armijo House as our headquarters in Las Cruces. At the time, we published a brief history on the Armijo family and this home. Since then, we have opened two additional branches at 2900 Roadrunner Parkway and 705 E. University Ave. to better serve our customers. In August of 2004, we left the Armijo House to our current location at 3831 E. Lohman Ave.
The Armijo House is still standing at 150 E. Lohman and is now home to the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce.
